feminist slut: awkward moment when someone thinks... →
feministslut:
Homosexuality was not a concept when the books of the Bible were being written. Homosexuality didn’t come about until the Victorian Era. Even then, we wouldn’t identify with the homosexuality of that Era. Also, in case you forgot, the Bible was not written in English.

Goodbye
I posted these on Twitter but I wanted to make my intentions crystal clear:
I’m considering deleting my tumblr for 3 reasons:
1). Not enough followers
2). No one reads my posts.
3). There’s probably a better audience on other sites.
More reasons:
1). Tumblr is the FB (I’m not getting sued) of blogging.
2). I desperately need a consistent theme for my posts. A theme...

"It's Still The Economy, Stupid" [Source:... →
President Clinton’s has an idea for America’s financial woes. The U.S. has suffered the most severe recession since the Great Depression. It even has its own title, the “Great Recession.” Speak of recovery has left many Americans skeptical as they are facing layoffs, foreclosure and, if they’re lucky, salary/wage reduction (via pay cuts or reduced hours)....

Message to my followers
Hi Tumblr and followers!
I’ve been away from this site and mistakenly treated Facebook as a blog. I have a nice following on FB because I post interesting videos, music and social commentary on a variety of different issues. However, I want to bring that same energy to Tumblr and my new page on Google+. I hope you all will enjoy my upcoming posts as they will feature selected web...

Local Tea Party-controlled school district... →
Everyone deserves equal and high-quality education. Stuffing minorities and the poor into schools that are underperforming and close to their homes is nothing short of segregation, especially on a class and racial level.

She drives around in a lowered Cadillac that shines brighter than the sprinkled glitter on her frosted lips. Her hair is up and her blouse is low, and one day I want to introduce myself to tell her she is beautiful and if I could buy her some fries and a shake.

Very interesting commentary on the slave trade, including details that I didn’t learn in grade school. I entreat you to read this.

Good news for the (U.S.) dollar. →

I would have to say that all eyes must remain on our high deficits and national debt. Sustaining a $14 Trillion debt and $ Trillion deficitis are unsustainable while maintaining a stable value for the U.S. dollar. Also, many commodities are priced in our currency. So it’s in our best interest to cut the debt and deficit.
Elections 2012: Reality TV Star vs. POTUS...
I’m voting for Sarah Palin in the Republican primaries. Because she will be the frontrunner for the GOP. For 2012 we’ll have an interesting race:
Former governor of Alaska (6 months) and reality tv show
vs.
A president with 4 years experience, Harvard Law alumnus, U.S. Senator, Illinois Senator.
Just saying.
